suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow in
a
DST (SERB) funded research project entitled "Mechanistic evaluation and in vivo
validation of the anticancer potential of Uttroside B against hepatocellular
carcinoma" in the laboratory of Dr. Ruby John Anto at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for
Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- The candidate must have good academic record with first class Master's
- Degree in Biological Sciences.
- At least 3 years of research experience, other than MSc project work and at
- least one first author publication in the relevant
area is required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
As the work includes animal
tissue culture and animal tumor models, prior experience
with animal cell culture and animal handling would be recommended.

FELLOWSHIP :
28,000 + 20% HRA per month for
M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at
NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Post Graduates in Professional Degree course
qualified candidates. M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification
will be eligible for 14,000/- + 20% HRA per month.

DURATION :
3 years or till termination of
the project, whichever is earlier. The initial appointment
